The hardcover of 'His Orc Lord's Accidental Accountant' by CJ Pines, in the upper right above a snippet of text with the word 'exhaust' highlighted: || Stepping out into the cool spring night, I am exhausted. It is dark, and chilly, and the ground is unkind to my bare feet. I do not care. Whatever god I've pissed off to find myself in this situation, I will make amends at their temple the very first city we come to. Until then, I am clearly on my own. Heart in my mouth, I scan the small circle gathered around the fire, hoping to find my orc’s face. But no, he is not there. It is his second, Ejuis, who notices me looking. and, joy of joys, The others follow his questioning glance, for I was so in need of yet more witnesses to my shame. Wrapping the borrowed robe more tightly around myself, I try to ignore their snickering. "Please: Atago?" I ask in my best Éldaren. For wherever the dragon might be found, I suspect, his rider cannot be far. (To Be Continued…) || A banner reading 'On BackerKit' sits in the lower right corner.

Love 'em! Hoping we unlock 🎧📚 goal for my #🌈📚#mmfantasy. Nerdy Tal is fun enough, but he flusters so easily when his orc dragonrider talks low & breathy in his ear…

A tall, scrawny human male wearing fussy pince-nez and a book slung on his hip (Tal) is standing in front of a taller and broader orc male with a long black braid, fur cloak, gold jewelry, and thick riding boots. His right hand is holding on the butt of a massive crossbow resting on the ground, his left comfortably resting on Tal's hip. || Around them are words with arrows pointing to each figure. Tal's are: needs a lift, 32, never been kissed, repressed af, book nerd, hidden disability, fear of heights.. Surak's are: needs a guide, 29, dragon rider, queer normative culture, big found family crew. Both together are: warrior x clerk, lost in translation. || The background is white with a border somewhere between an asian and nord influenced style that graduates from ocean blue to sunny gold. A tablet displaying the eBook is shown on the left, while the Collector's Edition hardcover (with sprayed edging) is shown on the right. The cover is of a laughing Surak and terrified Tal riding on the back of a grinning golden dragon (Atago) as he flies over a beach, and the title: His Orc Lord's Accidental Accountant (by CJ Pines). || On BackerKit! is displayed on a gold banner in the upper left corner.

I’m pleased to announce that a partial #coverreveal for the third book in my “groundbreaking” #trilogy will soon be coming down the pike. #booksky #gaybooksky #gayauthor #texdaw #coverartist #thegodfatherofvampires

Today seems fitting for this, tho it pub'd not long ago. A personal #🌈📚 w/ less popular themes, I didn't promo like it deserved.

Anxiety sucks.
