Owen, Kenzie, Rowan, and Wesley are all the official POV characters, but #Dogwood1 prologue is omni, Owen's guardian gets a chapter at the end of #Dogwood2, and an unnamed helicopter pilot lends us his pov briefly in #Dogwood3. But Wesley is The Narrator, regardless of POV. #AwesomeCharacters

gotta remember as i transcribe #Dogwood3 that *owen* is the one who angry cries and Wesley is the one who gets mad and paces the room and tries not to break shit.

(So I actually thought I had used "tube" verbatim to describe this thing's nose cuz if you look at an eel's nose it's kinda reminiscent of post op drainage tubes. But I didn't.) #dogwood3

Obsessed with my own WIP right now sorry #Dogwood3 is my favorite child.

It is NOT like the first 2, it opens almost slice of life (with the cracks already showing in Paradise). I was worried it would feel dull in comparison but I still love it after letting the handwritten draft rest.

the sudden swerve into Rowan pov this late in the game (after Owen's FIRST and ONLY pov so far) is all you need to know owen monumentally fucked up already. #Dogwood3

the first ELEVEN THOUSAND WORDS of #Dogwood3 are Kenzie and Wesley POV where the greatest stakes are how three very different people are going to make this ship float.

And then Owen POV rolls in at 12k and reignites the war with the Donovans and people start getting stabbed and arrested.

Owen held out longer than most before getting a cell phone, but when he finally broke, he bought an even dozen under different names, and he kept them all in the glovebox, lined with copper sheeting cut to size and welded into shape on his lunch break.
