Rin calls Ryo and Kazu as something is happening to Kou!
(Sees the area around Kou glowing as he floats in mid-air and the room's getting trashed)
...I think that's puberty... #SuperSentai #Dairanger

@digiranma.bsky.socialThe two dismiss it when Kameo says he sees something flying across the moon...
...why? Your line of work says "Pay attention to ANYTHING."
...until the stone turns Kameo into a turtle yet again to show him, yep, the big thing is known as the Great Horror King...and it's coming. #Dairanger
@digiranma.bsky.socialWe open on Kamo with Kou and Kazu looking at the moon through a telescope.
Somewhere, there's an old witch sneezing right now... #SuperSentai #Dairanger #PowerRangers
@digiranma.bsky.socialThe only other time the environment factors into this show was the whole bit with the dolls...and even THAT came the frak out of nowhere. I'm not saying it can't have it, I'm saying DO SOMETHING WITH IT. #SuperSentai #Dairanger
@digiranma.bsky.socialOk, first off, I like this episode. I'm a sucker for anything that develops the heroes and villains beyond heroes and villains and made me feel something for Gara.
But I can't help but think the environment stuff is shoehorned in. #Dairanger #SuperSentai
@digiranma.bsky.socialMonster blows up, our heroes win the day, and Kajaku keeps dying because we keep pollutin'. #Dairanger #SuperSentai
@digiranma.bsky.socialThe count blows up, thus grows up, and we get our traditional giant robots fight monster...uh...fight.. #SuperSentai #Dairanger
@ochan35.bsky.social(Hears the story about Gara's scar)
I'm suddenly having Kenshin flashbacks!

@digiranma.bsky.social...soooooooo...she never regretted saving Kajaku...but her scar left her pissed at the world...and thought Kaijaku betrayed her due to thinking she left thus went with the Evil S&M Club of Evil...
Boy...how much of this series could end early under "Misunderstanding?" #SUperSentai #Dairanger
@digiranma.bsky.socialYeah, Gara confirms she went with the Evil S&M Club of Evil due to the scar on her cheek.
Meanwhile, dudes like me, and some lesbians, are actually digging the look. #SuperSentai #Dairanger
@digiranma.bsky.socialKajaku is missing and she just happens to wake up near the teardrop.
Oh, hey, what'd the master say about this place?
(Sees it turn into a skull) Oh yeah, illusions abound thanks to the Evil S&M Club of Evil. #Dairanger #SuperSentai
@ochan35.bsky.socialY'know...I feel like Count Kaleidoscope would be no match for Sailor Moon's Moon Gorgeous Meditation!
#DaiRanger #GoseiSentaiDaiRanger #SuperSentai #Episode36 #TokuTime @digiranma.bsky.social @cctakato.bsky.social
@digiranma.bsky.social(Sees another feather fall) Oh, right...the whole environment plot thing...
Yeah...I can't help but think stuff like this is kinda shoehorned in...
Don't get me wrong, teaching kids to save the planet's good...but...has ANYTHING more been done here? #SuperSentai #Dairanger
@digiranma.bsky.socialBut Gara protected Kajaku from said act of God...and blames her for the scar on her cheek ever since.
Yeah, please make it make sense.
So, that's why she wanted the tear drop in the first place, find it and get rid of her friend's scar...than the civil war happened. #Dairanger #SuperSentai
@digiranma.bsky.socialGara shows up and fights our heroes, swearing by her scar that she'll never let 'em go near the teardrop and that leads to Kajaku clearing the air: Back in the day, they were of the same tribe and best gal pals...then an act of God, which Kajaku had NOTHING to do with, happened. #Dairanger
@digiranma.bsky.socialThe team offers to go and help Kujaku get the tear and that's when she lays it out: If opened, it can remove all diseases and impurities from Earth!
...SOMEBODY FIND THAT DAMN THING FOR US! #SuperSentai #Dairanger
@ochan35.bsky.socialI love Daigo is so down BAD for the Peacock Goddess that his brain shuts off and his entire character revolves around her!
(Look AT LEAST Tommy, Kimberly and Kat all had AGENCY outside of their relationship)
#DaiRanger #GoseiSentaiDaiRanger #SuperSentai #Episode36 #TokuTime @digiranma.bsky.social
@digiranma.bsky.socialWhen Gara learns Kujaku is in in the area tourists keep getting lost in, she sees even the plants wanna keep Kujaku out of the area...but it's to no aval as Diago JUST HAPPENED TO BE IN THE AREA. #SuperSentai #Dairanger
@digiranma.bsky.socialWe jump to one of the Evil S&M Club of Evil's monsters, Count Kaleidoscope, doing a chant...
@ochan35.bsky.socialAlso guys...I did catch up with the previous two weeks on my own time!
