Next week, the Great Horror King wastes no time and wrecks cities all over the world! The only hope? Our heroes and the Evil S&M Club of Evil stop fighting!

We had a goo---fine---a run, we had a run. "Huh! A Ceasefire!?" #Dairanger #SuperSentai

So once "The Great Horror King" appears...

This is chaos...but it's organized chaos. The story bits flow easily from one to another, nothing feels intrusive and everything is actually tied into each other, you can't have one plot without the other. #SuperSentai #Dairanger

Kameo tries to get the fight to stop...but it's too late as the Great Horror King shows up much to the surprise of EVERYBODY, including the Evil S&M Club of Evil. #SuperSentai #Dairanger

The plan works and Kou is under the control of the Evil S&M Club of Evil with his powers intact. Meaning we have a case of a ranger GOING evil as opposed to the reverse. #SuperSentai #Dairanger

Oh, check that, he just JACKED HIS OWN MONSTER'S BODY like it was a G Gundam machine!

...wait, if you could do that at anytime and make your monster more powerful in the process, WHY DIDN'T YOU DO THAT IN THE FIRST PLACE!? #Dairanger #SuperSentai

So, remember when I asked what would happen if someone refused the S&M club's call? Yeah, well, they just gave him a freshly washed brain and forced him to cause havoc. #Dairanger #SuperSentai

Well, the brat tells his dad his plan, including using it to make the dad bow to him, so the three main S&M club members decide the brat's plan...is THEIR plan, only instead his dad's gonna do it, thus control his other son more directly! #SuperSentai #Dairanger

I think having seen Jetman and this series you can tell Zyuranger was a "shift" in the Super Sentai franchise the same way UY influenced the 80s anime scene.

Seeing as time is going too slow for the club, the lil' bastard decides Kou's gonna be asleep, and in this nightmare, until he turns ten!

Meanwhile, Serptenta---I mean "The Horror King" is coming! #SuperSentai #Dairanger

Saber goes into Kou's dreams to try to wake him up...but if you remember on Twitter how we looked at other kids' shows where dreams factored in...yeah, you can kinda guess how well that goes...especially when they see the supplier is Kou's now not dead brother. #SueprSentai #Dairanger

So, turns out the other side of the the power, the Yo Power that fuels the Evil S&M Club of Evil that's half of Kou's bloodline? Yeah, turns out the club doesn't have to wait until his birthday to get closer...something is pumping the Yo side of his blood via his dreams. #Dairanger #SuperSentai

Freud would have a field day with Kou having dreams of his Mom tied and gagged.
...
...
...
Look I know what the series was doing for dramatic effect but I'm just saying...
#DaiRanger #GoseiSentaiDaiRanger #SuperSentai #Episode37 #TokuTime @digiranma.bsky.social

Ya know, considering some of these Evil S&M Club of Evil Monsters have their roles so baked in it's there names, have one of 'em actually REFUSED the call? Told 'em "I love my peaceful life, I'm living up to my name of Useru Kars Mun?" #Dairanger #SuperSentai

"I'm in Kou's Dreams!"
...and the Saber just Vulcan Mind Meld into Kou's dreams and now we have a whole Beautiful Dreamer situation!
#DaiRanger #GoseiSentaiDaiRanger #SuperSentai #Episode37 #TokuTime @digiranma.bsky.social

BTW, think about this...Saban wanted to keep the OG ranger suits because the MMPR brand was making money and didn't want to change that...but he/his production company put in a few extra bucks WITH Toei to get the Dairanger monster suits over for US footage or film new footage in Japan. #Dairanger

Wow! This episode already has so much going on.
#DaiRanger #GoseiSentaiDaiRanger #SuperSentai #Episode37 #TokuTime @digiranma.bsky.social

Meanwhile, Daigo and Shoji are losing...badly...at the Pachinko parlor, until Great Famous Pachinko Player shows up to show it's all in the wrist!

Oh, and being in the evil S&M Club of Evil helps. #SuperSentai #Dairanger

...and Kou...uh...I think he needs an exorcist.
#DaiRanger #GoseiSentaiDaiRanger #SuperSentai #Episode37 #TokuTime @digiranma.bsky.social

Okay so Kameo can still retain his human form. The episodes kinda left that up in the air after he became the Team Mecha!
