Poster for the film "The Bat" (1959): A moody, entirely red-tinted composition. Vincent Price's face fills the right side, illuminated in dramatic red light, holding a lit cigarette with a wary, suspicious expression, eyebrows raised. Above and behind him, curling cigarette smoke blends into an ominous bat-like shadow cast against the wall. The title "THE BAT" appears on the left in bold, rough red lettering.

Portuguese poster for the film "The Mission" (1986), features a breathtaking, minimalist composition. A massive waterfall dominates the upper half, cascading down from a dark jungle treeline silhouetted against a warm sunset sky. In the center of the falls, a wooden cross with a priest's body tied to it tumbles downward through the water as the lower half fades to pure white. The Portuguese title "- A MISSÃO -" appears in muted green-grey serif lettering at the bottom, flanked by decorative dashes.

Today's great film streaming for free is Adam Wishart's 9/11: Inside the President's War Room on BBC iPlayer. A fantastic account of where all the key figures of the Bush administration were as the events of 9/11 unfolded. Let me know what you think of this one in the comments. #cinesky

Poster for the film "The Asphalt Jungle" (1950, John Huston): A vivid hand-painted noir illustration against a black background. In the lower left, Marilyn Monroe reclines in a purple off-shoulder dress with a fur wrap, her blonde curls and red lips catching the light, her expression languid and seductive. Behind her to the right, a hot pink silhouette of a city skyline with dark skyscrapers rises ominously. Above, faint golden sketches of figures suggest criminal activity in progress. The title appears at the top in bold, rough-edged yellow brush lettering, angled diagonally.

Poster for the anime film "Detective Conan: Magician of the Silver Sky" (2004): A dynamic action composition in deep blue and fiery orange tones. In the foreground center, Conan Edogawa - a young boy with oversized round glasses and a bowtie - looks up with a determined expression while wearing aviation headphones. To his right, Ran, a girl with brown hair in a pink jacket looks on with concern, also wearing headphones. In the background on the far left is a sharp-featured young man in front of aircraft cockpit instruments, and the mysterious Kaitou Kid in his signature white cape and top hat looming in the upper right. Below, a commercial airplane flies through explosive orange flames and smoke. The title "名探偵コナン" (Detective Conan) appears in bold red-and-yellow lettering at the bottom, with the subtitle "銀翼の奇術師" (Magician of the Silver Sky) in yellow below it.

Un film necessario, che usa la finzione cinematografica per raccontare la realtà palestinese con forza ed efficacia. La voce di Hind Rajab non si dimentica facilmente.

The Chinese title "白日焰火" appears at the bottom in bold stylized red geometric lettering, with "Black Coal, Thin Ice" in smaller white English text below, punctuated by a small blood splatter.
