Squared poster for the film "Black Coal, Thin Ice" (2014), features a deeply atmospheric composition bathed entirely in warm neon red. A man and woman sit facing each other at a small table laden with food and drinks, above them, large Chinese neon characters glow against red curtains or streamers, their faces illuminated by the crimson glow. The Chinese title "็™ฝๆ—ฅ็„ฐ็ซ" appears at the bottom in bold stylized red geometric lettering, with "Black Coal, Thin Ice" in smaller white English text below, punctuated by a small blood splatter.
