En 1979, Apple donne les clés de sa machine à ITT pour conquérir l'Europe. ITT repeint tout en gris, adapte la prise au 220V et bidouille la puce graphique pour le standard PAL !

Acheter un ITT 2020 en 1979 pour sa "compatibilité Apple", c'était comme acheter un smartphone aujourd'hui qui lit les applications Android... mais uniquement en noir et blanc et sans le son.

So that is stil buggy on corner cases (can't save to Smartport...), but it globally works, I can fetch pictures from the Canon PowerShot 350 from my #AppleII!
I took the liberty of zooming in on the box's so-called "System Requirements".
System Requirements are overrated.

#Elite was hugely popular in the USA as well as the UK and Europe, and the two obvious machines to release it on were the #Commodore64 in 1985 and #AppleII in 1986. Both were excellent conversions and sold well. #Commodore64Elite was especially well done by the original authors.

Canon PowerShot 350 on #AppleII: Started implementing image download. I'm not there yet. It is ugly, inefficient, buggy, and does not even fit in the Apple II binary. But it will work at some point.
