Look closely at the image: spiral eyes, broad nose, round earspools and a parted mouth lined with orange shell. That orange is spondylus, a Pacific spiny oyster.
Conservators studying a closely related jade mosaic mask from a royal tomb at Chochkitam, Guatemala, noted that spondylus turns warm and flesh-like when backlit, making the face seem to come alive. That mask lay on a king's chest and has been read as a manifestation of the storm god.

A scene set in space, a sangheili ranger floats with their jetpack active, they seem to be holding an ODST who's helmeted head is resting against the ranger's. Background shows ship debris, a destroyed paris class and a 'covenant' corvette, with a spirit dropship destroyed as well. In the far back the planet below is currently only starting to be lit by a rising sun that's obscured by the planet itself, there seems to be active engagements too with frigates firing upon enemy aircrafts. A ODP is also in the process of blowing up in one of the three cluster formations of 4 ODP clusters visible. The Planet has two moons visible above it, one bigger, the smaller one behind the larger moon.
