Cycling infrastructure doing it’s thing (keeping my friend Brian Tao safe from parallel traffic)

It is an ongoing issue of debris making its way on to cycle tracks Wondering if @toronto.ca has regular cleaning schedules for these spaces or is it a call to 311?

This is #TorontoDanforth (with a little bit of help from
Spadina-Fort York)

Access to Biidaasige Park along Cherry St walking, riding (and even rowing) never felt so good.

Event recognition: A Lake Story by Melissa McGill, commissioned
by The Bentway, presented by The Bentway in collaboration
with Waterfront TorontoThe Next Wave
In 2003, leaders established a framework for
the revitalization of the area surrounding the
mouth of the Don River, articulating their vision
as part of a plan called “Making Waves: Principles
for Building Toronto’s Waterfront.” The work
they set in motion has transformed underutilized
lands by the lake into dynamic neighbourhoods
characterized by design excellence, environmental
regeneration and lively and generous public spaces.
Today, with 174 hectares (430 acres) of prime
land now flood protected and unlocked for
development, Waterfront Toronto is embarking
on the next wave of revitalization. This work
will be even more transformational than what
has come before, animating the new island,
Ookwemin Minising, and a large portion of the
eastern waterfront.
The next phase of collaborative work will deliver
thousands of new homes, extraordinary parks and
public places and destinations that will draw
residents and visitors to the lake as never before

• What might change
We're keeping an open mind. Ideas we're exploring include greening and planting, murals and public art, brighter surfaces and lighting, and small touches that make the laneway feel safer and more welcoming. What actually gets built will reflect what neighbours tell us matters most - and what our budget and permissions allow.
This is a light-touch project, not a major reconstruction. And it will always respect how the laneway works day to day: access, deliveries, garbage collection, parking, and snow clearing all keep working as they should.
