Today, the air is full of ladybugs as far as I can see. Blue, blue sky. Orange, yellow, red, green leaves. It's Ladybug Day, where they gather at south windows, looking to be let in for the winter. Some will find their way. They are living their own best lives.

Data are shown as boxplots for total individuals (a, d), males (b, e), females (c, f), and larvae (g). All comparisons for L. pedemontana were statistically significant (P < 0.05), whereas for L. noctiluca only larval abundance differed significantly between conditions.
