At the start of My Leaside Life in November of 2022 the Sunnybrook Plaza was coming down. I saw so many minor changes happening during my 2 year stay.

Demolition: The original structures have been demolished to make way for transit-oriented high-density housing near the Crosstown LRT. Line 5

I will be contributing to the #TOPhoto feed as much as possible. My first entry is my attempt to capture morning #TorontoHenge that didn’t work because the sky had other ideas.

The CN Tower and downtown buildings as seen from the Bathurst bridge over the rail yard at dawn. An UP train is leaving Union Station. The sky is full of orange clouds in a ruffle pattern that looks purple in the areas not lit up by the sun.

For my first #TOPhoto submission I'd like to share a picture I took within the first moments of walking into Biidaasige Park last month. Looking down at the river, I saw a Great Blue Heron fishing.

Toronto is truly a City Within A Park.
