To finish my day I’m going to share a photograph of an Eurasian jay that I Spotted by a tree today it was Captured on my Canon EOS R50!

The photograph features a detailed macro close-up of a bee—resembling an Ivy Bee (Colletes hederae)—perched on a starburst-like cluster of green ivy flower buds.  The Bee: Clinging to the right side of the cluster, the bee has a fuzzy, golden-brown thorax and an abdomen patterned with crisp, alternating bands of bright yellow and black. Its translucent wings rest along its side as its legs grip the flower bud.  The Plant: The ivy cluster radiates outward in an umbel, made up of small, cup-shaped green flower buds on dusty-green stalks. Each bud features a small, pointed central tip.  Background: Set against a dark, soft-focus background of deep green leaves, the dark backdrop brings out the vivid contrast and fine textures of the bee and plant.
