Summer passed like a #blurred memory. One minute the leaves began to sprout, the next they burst into fall fireworks of red, orange, and yellow. It seemed this way each year, an #island of warmth and endless possibilities sailing into recollection.

Cup of coffee
Within arm's reach
Comforter welcoming
Pillows upholding
Dipping a toe
Into news of the day
Reading the words
Of talented poets
Attempting to add
With a few of my own

Where we are free
To be as tender
As we were born to be.

There’s something about waking up early at sea, taking in the vastness of the ocean, yesterday’s #island already a distant memory.

It makes you feel small.

Then the breakfast buffet on the cruise is served and that feeling goes right over the rail.

to count my blessings

Of course my dangerous positivity

who have zero interest
in the betterment
of their current condition

#EU täte gut daran die #Fischereirechte -Frage niedriger zu hängen.
Dann wären auch ##Island, eventuell Norwegen und GB wieder an einem Beitritt interessiert.

Man kann nicht Länder mit so hohem Fischerei-Aufkommen bzw. Meeresgebiet einer Gleichmacherei aussetzen.
