One of the great events for me in #Scotland, although it's never in the news, is watching the #swifts fly high in the #EastKilbride sky, like mini spitfires. When I first see them I know #summer has arrived, & think of their amazing migration from #Africa.

EK drop to 6th in the league, & mgr will be under pressure to win next match against Peterhead at home. EK are hoping to win the league, & they need to start scoring goals again.

At Calderglen Country Park there's deciduous trees mainly beech trees. But ash, birch elm, willow, horse chestnut, sycamore are common too. Hundreds of hawthorn, ivy & beech hedges in EK as well. Larch, Sitka & Norwegian spruce too.
