EKBH 'city' would be bigger than #Dundee & have more green space too.

Before #COVID 19 #Sainsbury's in #EastKilbride had a grand cafe with great views to Tinto hill ~25 miles away. After COVID 19 the cafe closed. Last year EK lost both cafes in 2 Morrisons supermarkets which were popular, particularly with older folks
I miss all 3 cafes but that's the way it is.

In 1970 we would cycle to #Eaglesham just to west of #EastKilbride in glorious countryside. Up by Fenwick moor we would walk up to top of Ballageich hill, & see great views of #Glasgow to north.Today Whitelee Windfarm dominates to south of this hill. This photo could be 1870 rather than 1970.

At Calderglen Country Park in #EastKilbride there is a botanical garden of flower beds. It attracts butterflies in summer. In October it's transformed into a #Pumpkin display for #Halloween.
Well worth a visit.
