Dram 1: Trutina 7 yrs - on the palate, it's a little jaggy; porridge with runny honey; Gingernut biscuits; lemon bonbons; a dash of white pepper #SPEYWhisky

#SPEYWhisky Trutina finish is quite sharp & fizzy, with a little cinnamon spice. All in a pleasant sweet dram. Mid scoring for me 😊

#SPEYWhisky I've jumped to the palate on the Trutina. It is very bright & fresh - I get that cool mint sensation (xylitol?), I find that quite dominant, but when it passes there is vanilla, ginger crunch creams & physalis

On the palate this goes fruits but keeps the creamyness, i wanna say apple pie and custard! with a side of fresh pears!
