Chancellor John Healey praised Rachel Reeves for her work, and her policies that had lifted half a million children out of poverty, and brought NHS waiting lists down.

He had also brought with him a group of apprentices from Cammell Laird shipyard in Birkenhead, which was good to see. #Lab26
