Annoying masking bleed, but easily fixed with a brush. Need to paint the cockpit coaming. Otherwise, final assembly, gloss varnish, panel lining. Feels nearly done. #ItaliaGB #HistScaleModels

Engine cover doesn’t fit at all well so have glued in place. Body ready for primer after final rub down with fine sanding sponge

Engine build underway but won’t be seen so will only get basic paint

Slapped on the decals yesterday evening. They went on okay, there were some fuckups I had to patch up…
So next is the varnish wich will be the hardest part (that’s why I am doing all this before anything else 😂)

Body clean up underway including getting the US spec marker lights filled in.

Chrome sprue stripped with bleach, will be easier to glue and hopefully look better when painted than the plastic shiny look, especially the wheels.

Saharina Day2: Lots of accessories have been added, as if it would go on a long range desert patrol 🏜️

I'm trying to solve a ridiculous problem in the build. Guide calls for 16g of nose weight and there is no way i will be able to fit that much in. I tried to stick all the wings etc on plane and balance it and it seems less is needed. But you never know... #histscalemodels #ItaliaGB

The interior of the Ferrari. The white metal is a bit grotty - it is a v old kit. Cut out the rear seat and added in a fuel tank and a fire extinguisher system. New racing seat with PE seat harness. now it’s all glued in I need to fill the holes and top coat it

Unusual 2 sets of tyres, only calls for 2 of each sprue on instructions. Seems to be derived from Monogram Testarossa as chassis has 1987 date on it
