A Flat-headed Leafhopper nymph (subfamily Ledrinae) spotted at Dairy Farm Nature Park, Singapore on 26 Oct 2025. The side view shows how flat it is; and not an easy shot to get.

Slime molds are so weird and cool. This is some sort of Stemonitis, which I found near Cultus Lake.

#SlimeMold #Stemonitis #Slime #Mold #iNaturalist #Macro #Nature #BritishColumbia #Canada

An extreme close-up photo of a cluster of slime mold growths. They are long, thin tubes of chocolatey brown, growing on top of extremely thin black filamentous stalks. The front of the cluster, in focus, extends far into the background and out of frame, suggesting there are hundreds of such tubes.

A Changeable Lizard (Calotes versicolor) spotted at Punggol Waterway Park, Singapore on 13 Sept 2026. An introduced and common urban lizard, here posing in a nice, curvy fashion.

Spring is in the air and it’s just so beautiful out in our native bushland at the moment!

Alright, where are my #iNaturalist nerds at?
www.inaturalist.org/people/kasey...

@paleontologizing.bsky.social finally talked me into it & I am obsessed. I have SO much on my to-do list right now, it's taking every fiber of my being to resist digging through years of photos to ID stuff I've seen.

Apparently today is Butterfly Big Day, a global day-long #iNaturalist butterflying event 🦋

So, here’s an opportunistic iPhone picture of an Australian Painted Lady (Vanessa kershawi) I spotted on my walk today.
