brooding
drags his prangalang
sorely
sweeping dust
in the old migration trail

how oft in more glorious days
he raised it high
proudly
in display
taking on all challengers
to his regal lineage

as an ass man
but covered in slop
after cajoling and shoving
and pulling the rope that snapped
throwing me into the stye
i told that kravulous donkey
