First bird of my day: a blue tit clinging to a pebbledashed wall, searching under the eaves for insects. Fine, drizzly rain here. #firstbirdofmyday
Moin.
I realised that part of why I'm feeling weird is the annual trauma from hell. My mind forgets. But my body remembers.
Taking it one step at a time.
#FirstBirdOfMyDay was a blue titmouse. Thei are very chatty this morning.
How are you?
First birds of my day: no fewer than fourteen Starling whistle-squeaking up on the steeple of St Barney's Church, while a pair of Pied Wagtail flew in one direction and a trio of Goldfinch in the other above my head.
#firstbirdofmyday a robin up early on a misty morning
A very clear and chirpy Robin for #FirstBirdOfMyDay β¦ but quite the choir & orchestra this morning.
Very autumnal here, cool damp and foggy-we were graced by a Sparrowhawk coming out of the fog at speed. Killed two of our resident Wood Pigeons recently π

Welcome Swallows, 2 of them zigzagging along the railway underpass as I ran for the train. 3rd bird was also a W swallow, observed from the massive window in the waiting room on the 13th floor. Should I be looking up the symbolism of 3 swallows in a row π₯΄ #firstbirdofmyday #whatsyours
Snap! We have a mist/sea fret and in the gloom I heard the "caw, caw, caw" of a crow. I looked around and there it was balanced on the electricity cable at the top of the street.

First bird of my day: a goldfinch perched in the hedgerow on a calm, mild morning. #Firstbirdofmyday
First bird of my day: my crow again. Honking this time within a slight mist. There were other birds but none of them were so loud or demanding. Heβs looking gorgeously sleek. #firstbirdofmyday #whatsyours
#FirstBirdOfMyDay: Two loud crows startling me with their caws as they zipped directly overhead.
#firstbirdofmyday here in Orono Maine: a tufted titmouse at the feeder. Jimππ
Moin.
The weirdest stuff is surfacing on my end. A lot of it doesn't seem to be mine. I let it pass.
#FirstBirdOfMyDay was a titmouse sweetly chatting with other titmice.
How are you?
Lots of geese about for #FirstBirdOfMyDay but the Jackdaws were up & at it
First bird of my day: a low-flying magpie heading for the apple tree. #firstbirdofmyday
