Today, on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, I'm thinking of the survivors and the children who never came home, and their families. As a Métis person with Cree heritage, this day is personal for me, and I'll keep listening and learning. 🧡
Good afternoon Corrina 🌸💖
I applaud Canada for honoring children who did not come home from the injustices in those schools. The people in my government do not care about the trauma children endure from racism, trafficking, or ICE
DCD's work is informed by the Reconciliation Framework from the Steering Committee on Canada's Archives. Join us in honouring archival practices as outlined here:

Three years ago, Edmonton's Food Bank opened our NISO building. Rooted in Cree terms like Nisohkamakewin (assistance/help), "NISO" reflects our mission.
Today, we wear orange for #TruthAndReconciliation to show support, listen, and learn.
