Thank you, that's really exciting!! :)
Oh that would be wonderful, we'd love that!! If it's able to be sent electronically, you can email it over to [email protected]. :)
I'm sure we're far too late, but this account is run by the devs! We're a bit easier to contact than THQ 😅. Feel free to send us a message, or email us at [email protected]! We also have a contact form that sends to that email on our website, if you're more comfortable with that.
Anyway, that's us! Thanks for taking the time to read through our thread. We truly can't wait to share our game with you.
We'll be posting about the game, the characters, our team, and provide a little insight into the game development process.
While the social media aspect of this whole thing is somewhat intimidating/confusing/bewildering, we are genuinely proud of the game we've made and excited to show off our characters, our gameplay, our art, our music-- our whole game.
We've just launched the most recent Expeditions game in Early Access! It's called Expeditions: Samurai (link in our bio). It's a top-down, turn-based historical fiction RPG set in Sengoku-era Japan. It features 8 companions, all of whom are romanceable.
This is Jonas Wæver! He's our creative director. More on him in another post, but for now I'll just say he's the birth mother the creator of the Expeditions series.
DESIGN ROOM! The cutest room. (Because I sit here. Hello. I'm the writer. I have drawn myself. Yes, I gave myself a ponytail. I have that power.)
omg WOW what's that in the corner? How'd that get there, huh, wild.
Conference room! We playtest the game here!
Our bathroom, which houses our second hardest working member of the team: the toilet.
Our kitchen, which houses our hardest working member of the team: the coffee machine <3
Art room part 2 with another artist and also our lone animator! They are also not in the office today, so I have done them the service of also drawing their likeness. These people exist, I promise.
The AUDIO ROOM! (You have to shout it so the audio guy can hear you) (he's working from home today so I have drawn his likeness) (I am not one of our artists).
This is where we grow our programmers! (They hid when I came in with the camera.) This room is our second most nicely decorated room, because the artists took pity on them. Note the doodles.
Here's a picture of some of our artists! This is our most nicely decorated room. On account of the artists.
Every game studio has a meme board (or they want to have one, it's one of those two options). This is ours.
So, we thought we'd give a peak into our office!
We're Campfire Cabal, a games studio based in Copenhagen, and we are attempting to cultivate a social media presence! It is a very unintuitive process for us as we are all anti-social game developers with varying levels of desire to be left alone in a damp cave to grow moss.
