After an exciting talk regarding positive affect and internalizing symptoms happening at #SPR2026 I had a conversation with someone who said, “this just makes me question everything” and question everything we did! From savoring, desires to worry, discrimination training, and chronic stress, (1/2)

I am so excited to see conversations about improving psychophysiological methods in autism science at @therealspr.bsky.social !! it's important that our understanding of psychophys addresses the wide spectrum of variability. Nice job @kaydenstockwell.bsky.social putting together this symposium!!

Really important discussion on accessible psychophysiology in autism + designing studies not only with autistic participants in mind, but part of the conversations. Key takeaway: if our protocols only work for a narrow range of individuals with autism, the conclusions we draw will be narrow as well.

The cerebellum might be ‘the little brain’, but it certainly plays a critical role cognitively. Thank you to the presenters below for great talks and engaging responses to questions!

Cognitive aging doesn't happen in isolation. The 4 talks shared within the symposium "Brains in Context: Neuroimaging, Lifestyle, and the Trajectory of Cognitive Aging" looks into aging across angles; from stress, physical activity, broader health risks and social engagement. @therealspr.bsky.social

At the #SPR2026 preconf workshop on dyadic synchrony, Dr. Nilam Ram walked us through how Claude helped him model dyadic data. We also shared about our apprehension about using AI in our own work. The future of the physio synchrony and AI in autism science is unexplored! @therealspr.bsky.social
