Eddie had always made a habit of disappearing sometimes and when he did, it was only a matter of hours before he showed back up. "I will do exactly that, Steven! Maybe if you spent less time worrying about your wandering husband and where he disappears to in the middle of the night, and more time worrying about your job, we would have this case solved by now." Hopper is seething as he turns to walk away with Steve standing irritated behind him. "Oh, and Steve? You might want to keep better tabs on Eddie. He isn't exactly ruled out for this." Hopper warns, pulling himself back up onto his horse. "Just what the hell are you implying, sheriff?" Steve asks, leery of the way Hopper stares back through his very being. The other man grips the reins tight in one hand and cuts his gaze over to Steve. The sun sits to the right of Hopper as it casts long shadows against the dusty expanse of the cattle farm. "I'm not implying nothing, Steve. Do your job and I'll do mine. And make sure you start keeping tabs on Eddie. Be a shame if he were to be behind bars." Hopper sneers.

Okay, I believe you."
