We should make it easier to keep families together & workers in their jobs. Forcing people who are following the rules to separate from their families and leave the country to obtain a green card will make the process more difficult and hurt families, communities, & our economy.

Americans overwhelmingly support a path to citizenship for essential immigrant workers & their families, not more barriers. Changes to an outdated immigration system that forces people who are following the rules to leave the country–their families and jobs–to obtain a green card will hurt us all.

Any policy that threatens working people’s ability to do their jobs and provide for their families is a policy we cannot stay silent on. Facilities workers @tufts.edu started practice pickets yesterday to prep for a possible STRIKE, which the crew of grounds, maintenance & trades workers voted unanimously to support if Tufts doesn’t move on fair wages & affordable insurance now. Pickets resume at noon!
