From self-expression to guessing someone's moods, and even at one point denoting marital or social status, hair has deep cultural roots. Whether or not modern mass media is used as a basis for someone's personal new style, it is often understood that a hairstyle change can be motivated by psychological factors such as a wish to soothe a broken heart or anxiety (Citation: Nari Yoon et al., 2012). Some people seek different salons because of mood or influence from others, or simply to escape the boredom of monotony.
