For my fellow olds (though also youngs) that enjoy reading physical media (a fitting thing to do for this story), my piece on Mark Steiner retiring from Scarecrow Video is in today’s print edition of @seattletimes.com. Do yourself a favor & pick one up to see all the great photos/journalism inside 📽️

The Sunday, October 11 edition of The Seattle Times that reads: Roll credits: after 34 years and more than 150,000 movies, Scarecrow Video’s longtime buyer retires with a photo of the man himself Mark Steiner standing in front of the vast library he helped build expanding out behind him.

THE SOCIAL RECKONING doesn't want to be THE SOCIAL NETWORK. It wants to be THE INSIDER. Yes, it has the typical Sorkin flaws, but I still enjoyed it.

THE SOCIAL RECKONING is too much and too little too late -- A lot of time has passed since the Social Network landed; Aaron Sorkin's sequel feels almost as tired as all of us are.

Pointing fingers and yelling, “Be mad, people!” for two hours doesn’t come as easily as it once did, I suppose.

THE SOCIAL RECKONING is now in theaters everywhere. Sorkin's mad, but yelling about things we already are aware of.

Let me know what I missed.
