Rare Zinny opinion: The fact that I see several trans friends get called slurs and other hateful things over video games instead of directing that at the hateful and ignorant people who actually DESERVE it pretty much sums up why I've been laying off of social media.

I'm prolly gonna take a step or two back from Bluesky. Just need some time to breathe. If anyone needs me, y'all can find me on Discord or on Twitch, whenever I go live on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday this week. Cheers y'all

I'm thinking, as communicating in general becomes even more dehumanized and rampant, it bolsters how much vile behavior we're "allowed" to justify, which includes the aforementioned bullying and manipulating. GenAI is just speeding up said dehumanization.

One last time; My issue is that people have become more paranoid and volatile to one another when it comes to the subject of genAI, regardless of views. Yes it sucks. Yes it's fucking folks over. Yes it's in *everything* and cutting off never feels like enough for folks. Just talk, everybody.

I am looking to move to Canada soon, and I need the financial support to help me establish citizenship there, which is why I decided to set up a Ko-fi! It would mean the world to me if y'all could help towards this, but sharing is also a big help.

I know I talk about this game a lot, but there's something I wanna talk about. This team is made up of TWO PEOPLE. They have been working at this for almost a year non-stop. They have a heavy stance against A.I. use and put their hearts into this game's development. It releases on Steam the 15th.
