@platforma4dev.bsky.socialGabriele Köhler (Women Engage for a Common Future) stressed that voluntary reviews alone are insufficient. She insisted that binding accountability mechanisms are needed.
@platforma4dev.bsky.socialJoão Tavares (Nexus Governance) focused on the value and improvement of the SDG reporting process, particularly Voluntary Local Reviews (#VLRs), for the next development cycle. He stressed that "a local review is a process and a legacy, not a publication."
@platforma4dev.bsky.social"Putting territories at the heart of the post-2030 framework should not mean simply asking territories to do more," said Jyotsna Mohan. It should mean giving territories, and the people within them, greater voice, greater resources and greater influence over the decisions that affect their lives."
@platforma4dev.bsky.socialAt our webinar on the post- #2030Agenda, the keynote speaker Axel Berger, Deputy Director at IDOS, stressed the need for a "learning–oriented approach" and to "build progressive alliances with like-minded nations and stakeholders", including local and regional governments.
