Corridor care has hit a record high, and winter hasn't even started yet. In September, an average of more than 3,300 patients a day were treated in A&E corridors or on wards without a proper bed space. That's almost 100,000 times in a single month. 🧵

For years, our rivers, lakes and seas have been pumped full of filthy sewage while executives pocket billions. It’s time to take profit out of water, end failed privatisation and put communities and our environment first.
Primary care is the front door to the NHS, delivering 90% of all public interactions with our health service. Liberal Democrats believe in a patient-centred, preventive primary care system that sits at the heart of a transformed NHS.
Liberal Democrat members passed a new policy on supporting people to age well and maintain their independence. The Liberal Democrats are taking a stand to fix social care, protect our NHS, and ensure everyone can age well in their own home and community.
Fixing our relationship with Europe is the only way to get our economy back on track. We are fighting to do just that. To put Britain back where it belongs. Back at the heart of Europe.
Liberal Democrats took more than 3 million people out of paying income tax with the personal allowance. So we will raise the tax-free personal allowance to £15,000. Taking 2 million more people out of paying tax altogether, and giving most taxpayers a £680 tax cut.
Raising the tax-free personal allowance. Trusting people to spend their own money, not telling them the state knows best. Real money, £680 a year, back in people’s pockets.
"Public ownership would make it much easier to manage water collectively, as a social good rather than a commodity." @mp4stratford.bsky.social is absolutely right. Andy Burnham, it is time to act. Voters, no matter who they vote for, support public ownership of water
Last day at #LDConf. Thanks to @mp4stratford.bsky.social for visiting us at our stand this morning - fantastic to talk to Manuela about how levies affect electricity pricing in the UK, and how to bring those costs down.
Thanks for the warm reception on the doorstep today in Blockley Ward. The Cotswold District Council by election is almost here - 24 September and people are increasingly backing Danny Loveridge. It was great to have @mp4stratford.bsky.social supporting Danny’s positive campaign.
I am appalled and disgusted at the comments made by the Leader of Restore Britain about Stratford-upon-Avon and one of its schools. We should be celebrating that children are going to great schools in my constituency and go on to contribute great deals to our society in a positive way.
There were three senior Reform men involved in those conversations. Two of them have been kicked out, the third is Nigel Farage. Reform have clearly accepted what happened here was wrong. So surely the buck stops with Farage?
Farage has always behaved as though the rules apply to everyone but him. These allegations against Reform look like the latest example.
