I've never felt so unsafe with my family in this country. As a Liberal Democrat, I'm proud we are the last line of defence against a Reform government and the politics of fear. Ed led us to a historic win as Liberal Democrats and is fighting for this country's future.

Hertfordshire's councils have already spent around £1.5 million preparing to split into four new unitary authorities. Back in September, the Government hit pause. Our councillors and staff have worked incredibly hard on this, and residents still don't have clarity.

The motion passed at Green Party Conf' actively undermines a 2-state solution, and does not address the rising threats of Islamophobia and Antisemitism here in the UK. This is a divisive motion that pours fuel on the fire of tensions in the UK, and will leave many British Jews feeling less safe.

A few weeks ago, I spoke to @itvanglia about the start of Andy Burnham’s premiership and the need to put growth at the heart of the Government’s agenda. With fiscal headroom now under even greater pressure ahead of the Budget, that challenge is only becoming more urgent.

We cannot get the best of AI if we cannot protect people from the worst of it. As industry leaders increase calls for urgent action, we cannot wait any longer. I’ve written to the AI Minister to urgently address these concerns and work together on this growing challenge.
