This #OpenAccess paper introduces the concept of “street raciology” to theorise how Polish migrants in post-2004 Britain vernacularly produce racial knowledge. The concept captures the improvised classification work that serves social ordering and boundary-policing in everyday interactions.

This paper analyses refugees’ voting behavior in Sweden. The results show that two major factors affect refugee turnout: the acquisition of citizenship, and the degree of diversity of nationality in the districts in which refugees live.
