You can! You just need to co-transfect the opto-katanin constructs, optimize transfection levels a bit and then use FRAP with 488nm at low power to locally illuminate every 4-30 seconds. 😉

Excited to share that our latest story on #microtubule conformation controlling cell #signaling is now out in NCB! We show that microtubule expansion by taxane chemotherapeutics releases microtubule bound GEF-H1 which in turn activates RhoA/ROCK signaling. ✨
