If you have the ability, please continue to get vaccinated. It was super easy to get the appointment scheduled, there were no questions about preexisting conditions, if you're worried about that. A quick appointment can spare you or those close to you illness this flu season <3

With the Cubs’ season officially over now that Jed Hoyer held his annual year-end presser, just wanted to say I appreciate all the Cubs fans who followed along and read my work this season. More to come in the offseason!

PCA's 10.6 fWAR is 2nd in Cubs history behind Rogers Hornsby's 11.0 fWAR in '29. Only 8 MLB CFs with better fWAR: Willie Mays (10.7 in 1965), Ty Cobb (11.0 in 1911 & 11.5 in 1917), Stan Musial (11.0 in 1948), Aaron Judge (11.1 in 2022 & 11.2 in 2024) and Mickey Mantle (11.4 in 1957 & 11.5 in 1956).

Here’s a memory: I loved going to The Will Rogers on Belmont when I was a kid in the 60s. It was Art Deco & the lobby had murals of Will Rogers. Beautiful theater seating. I still have dreams about it. In its original glory (before my time) & when it was to be demolished in 1990 for a strip mall.
