While Aaron Sorkin's penchant for conflict and discovery is a winning match for a biographical thriller like #TheSocialReckoning, his affinity for classical Hollywood storytelling is so off-key for this moment as to feel tone-deaf.

Tizza Covi and Rainer Frimmel's The Loneliest Man in Town is a portrait of an idiosyncratic artist who’s outlasted nearly everything from his past except his dreams.

With #OneMoreTime, André Gregory shares a moving curtain call, a personal document that looks back at the work of three accomplished thespians and reckons in the present with their shared mortality.

#NAZA is the rare film of genuine urgency, answering a perplexing question: how does a military encourage its ethically troubled, AI-led, remote drone operators to kill women, children, and other innocents in the name of the state?

Don't love the idea of A24 owning Letterboxd but if Sony buys it, they'll do the same thing they did to Alamo Drafthouse. And if the New York Times buys it, they'll do the same thing they did to the New York Times.

You may not have known this movie is coming out or that it happens to be in theaters now but it is and it's a true adventure picture featuring a terrific Ethan Hawke smuggling gold with a bunch of prisoners. It is well worth your time, money, and adrenaline.

This should have got more attention. A charming little movie about being open to new experiences and impetuous when it comes to life's delights. It's worth going out of your way to get that tasty dish you had forever ago or visit that place you've only read about. An antidote for our bleak moment.
