🔬This week at @cssbhamburg.bsky.social, we’re testing #holotomography on real participant samples: from bacteria and biofilms to cells, 3D cultures, tissues, and whole organisms.
✨Our carousel gives a quick technical overview of the method and the @tomocube.bsky.social HT-X1™ Plus.
#LabelFreeImaging
🔬 High-res 3D imaging without labels: #holotomography uses refractive index as intrinsic contrast for quantitative imaging of living samples.
Next week at @cssbhamburg.bsky.social , we’ll demo the @tomocube.bsky.social HT-X1™ Plus hands-on with participant samples.

What role do membrane contact sites play in bacterial pathogenesis and infection? To explore this question, 24 PIs from across Germany, representing two scientific communities - lipid biology and infection biology - came together at CSSB. More info:https://t1p.de/xe7u0 @carobarisch.bsky.social
The MHH Virology Retreat took place at CSSB last week. Participants had a great time getting to know CSSB and sharing their latest research. Thanks to all who attended! @bosse-lab.bsky.social
Researchers from CSSB and the @uwmadison.bsky.social have discovered that a layer of cellular energy regulation lies in proteoforms — unique chemical variants of proteins. A new study reveals how these proteoforms arise through the activity of AMPK.
