The Vote Forward letter-mailing window is officially open!

If you’ve already written letters, please send them out soon, but no later than October 24, so they arrive in voters' mailboxes before Election Day.

Adopt voters now and get your letters ready, but hold off on mailing! Our mailing window runs October 1–24, so letters arrive when they'll have the most impact on voter turnout. Adopting early gives you plenty of time to write and prep.

New campaign alert 🚨✨

Write a letter that picks up where a canvasser left off. Each letter is tailored to a specific voter, so your words land as a personalized follow-up. A handwritten note could be the nudge that gets someone to the polls 💌🗳️

Tip #4: Use cool, unique stamps! While the classic stars and stripes are great, picking up new, colorful stamp designs at my local post office is an easy way to help my letters stand out in a pile of advertisements and junk mail.

Tip #3: Fold the letter inside out. Fanning the fold inside out ensures the first thing a voter sees when opening the envelope is their own handwritten name, making them much more likely to pull the letter out and read it.

Tip #2: Make the letter pop with color! I keep a mix of highlighters, pens, and markers nearby to highlight key dates or races. I'm team quality over quantity, and I want voters to see that a real person spent time writing to them because their vote matters.

Tip #1: Keep a reference letter handy. I usually keep a completed letter (or one I messed up on!) right in front of me as my template copy so my eyes can easily follow along while I write and multitask.
