@timeseeker.devFor context, Steamworks simply does not give every game the option to request a compatibility test from the get-go. But one hour after this happened in Drillbound's discussions, Valve automatically made a request for me for a Steam Deck compatibility test. 10/10

@timeseeker.devI went for both really, 8x8 icons with a limited color palette give you so little to play with that you kinda need to use everything at your disposal to convey even the simplest thing
@timeseeker.devtbh I think some of people don't pay any attention to the icons, but I'd just like to think that they unconsciously associate certain imagery to certain types of upgrade due to repetitive exposure. Thus making the navigation of the skill tree slightly more intuitive even if they are unaware of that
@timeseeker.devIncremental games need way too many icons, so here are most of the +350 icons from +150 unique upgrades. I still can't believe Drillbound releases in under a week...

@timeseeker.devIf I had a nickel for every time a huge gaming event/release was announced to take place on Drillbound's release date AFTER we announced it, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice. (I'm looking at you Order of the Sinking Star)
