@alexsbradshaw.bsky.socialAlso, good to remember that the aim is just for everyone to have fun and to make sure the players know that failing is part of the fun. Some of the best moments in a game can come when you have to suddenly make a new plan when the first one goes awry!
@alexsbradshaw.bsky.socialOne of the starter sets is the best bet - they should have a shorter version of the rules and pre generated characters so you can pick up and play with minimal prep - and they should still last a long time if you want them to but I think they're more modular now so could also be shorter
@spotlightindie.bsky.socialReposted by @alexsbradshaw.bsky.socialWe're so good to you, we're not just feeding your minds, we're feeding your bellies too! One lucky UK-based person who tunes into our Fantastic Fantasy Feast panel on Saturday will get a pizza delivered to eat while you watch. Want a slice of the action? You'll have to join the chat! 🍕 🍕 🍕
@alexsbradshaw.bsky.socialVery excited for these!
@spotlightindie.bsky.socialReposted by @alexsbradshaw.bsky.socialWith The Big Indie Weekend just a few days away, we're gathering intel like a bunch of spies (not very good ones clearly). What do spies need? Maps! Drop a picture of your world map below in celebration of this super panel ⬇️ We may even share some on the live stream! #writingcommunity #indieauthors
@alexsbradshaw.bsky.socialI also would suggest if you try one that you find one with a shelf or something to put the phone into or that has a little phone stand that comes with it as then I had to get that extra stand otherwise trying to lean it on something got frustrating fast
