Happy Indigenous Peoples Day! It’s a great day to raise a glass to Ontario, the Lake of Shining Waters, and to remind ourselves that it is never too late to be a good neighbor.

END. THIS. WAR. Langworthy says the war should go on as long as Trump wants. He has voted against bringing our troops home 5 times. I’ll vote to bring this foolish, illegal war to a close on day 1. It’s costing lives, driving up fuel prices, and making us less safe. Congress needs to step up.

The average US family has paid about $1700 because of Trump’s tariffs. Upstate NY businesses are suffering. Nick Langworthy supports the tariffs. I’ll vote to cancel them on day 1.

Met Garlic royalty today at the Cuba Garlic Festival! This morning: standing-room-only town hall at the Ashville Free Library and a tasty lunch at the @ashvillegeneral store! Tomorrow we’re hitting a UAW meeting, opening our Hamburg Office, and a town hall, 2:00 at the Shawnee VFW in N. Tonawanda!

At Olean's 9/11 event this morning, remembering the courage, compassion and humility shown on that day. Telling these stories honors that sacrifice. I'm grateful to all who risk their lives to defend our freedom. May we each act with courage, compassion and humility to protect and serve others.
