A new show starts today - The Hellmouth is @ligeiadrablow.bsky.social and I talking to people from the metal scene about the songs that inspired them - for the pilot episode, to give an idea of the format, it will be us talking about our own choices. 7pm UK time on Chaos Under No Ties #MetalSky

3/3 I'm not saying abandon YT but maybe upload your band's videos to two places? For those of us who try and avoid Google's evil shit, it would mean we can enjoy your art too :) and if federated platforms seem weird and confusing, I am happy to help out.

1/3 Musician/label/promoter friends - I know YouTube is 'the' place for videos but as Google gets increasingly evil, as YT itself gets more and more restrictive, oppositional and advert heavy and the algo pushes more crap at users, maybe consider a free, open source, ad-free, algo-free alternative?
