@metal-x.bsky.socialIDK if anyone in the dance club community is on here, but I've had to let a few owners know the last 2 days so I'm making a post here. TwerkTaco's new world FBT social was created using generative AI like others in the past. Their group called Shxtty also utilizes generative AI.
@electrovrc.comReposted by @metal-x.bsky.socialHere's my cheatsheet for how to spot generated 3D models. I focused on Tripo for this one. MCP use is moving too fast for me to be confident in the tells atm. I put it in the note, but don't harass people. Any of these 'tells' can also be intentional or accidental. Depends on the intended usecase.

@metal-x.bsky.socialUnfortunately my IRL situation has hit a point I can no longer ignore. I really hate asking but anything at all will help.

The Rave Factory VR: POP UP OR ELSE

@metal-x.bsky.socialI would like to thank The Rave Factory crew for letting me spin last night as well as everyone who came out to support! Was a small dream come true.
I have uploaded this set to both YT and Soundcloud with this being my FIRST upload to Soundcloud!
@metal-x.bsky.socialAyoooo I get to open The Rave Factory Pop Up tonight! I'm so excited to set the tone for the stacked lineup that follows!
@oshaviolation96.bsky.socialReposted by @metal-x.bsky.socialDon’t be afraid to call and let your local businesses know that are using gen AI for flyers, logos, menus, etc, just don’t look good and shows lack of care! Local automotive shop just emailed a fully generated flyer for customer appreciation and I shot them a call to let them know it was horrid lol
@electrovrc.comReposted by @metal-x.bsky.socialWould yall be interested in more “how to spot gen ai” cheatsheets? Thinking mainly about 3D models rn - both the ones made through the blender mcp and with things like tripo/meshy
@oshaviolation96.bsky.socialReposted by @metal-x.bsky.socialTavernV2* completely rebuilt, hybrid bar/music venue with games for the homie @metal-x.bsky.social. This is public and quest friendly for anyone to use. Good frame rates on quest and mobile and about as optimized as my other venues for PCVR.

@metal-x.bsky.socialSince it is now October and I think vibes in the scene are a little off with the AI issues, I feel like starting a monthly trend.
What is the best set you experienced in VR for the month of September?
For me it's @toxictrate.bsky.social's set they did for Shooty's Bday.
