Fab Sun at #NewScientistLive: the @eucliduk.bsky.social stand was packed with young dark matter detectives; a delight to hear @jimalkhalili.bsky.social's book talk"On Time"; everyone laughed at my jokes in my talk πŸ₯³

Tomorrow I'm talking in #Greenwich - come along!πŸ”

We'll be at Stand J42 with the latest breathtaking imagery from this groundbreaking space telescope, an immersive VR experience and the opportunity to transform yourself into some of the dark matter that appears to warp distant galaxies! 🌌

With our first data release in November just around the corner, scientists and engineers from across the UK will soon be on the road again!

Catch us at @newscientist.com's New Scientist Live, 10-12th October 2026, for the return of Euclid, the #darkuniversedetective πŸ•΅οΈβ€β™€οΈ

A poster that says "We're exhibiting at New Scientist Live" with the dates 10-12 October. The poster has a purple background with triangular yellow, blue and purple shapes. One of our volunteers of the Euclid exhibit at the Royal Society Summer Science exhibition is standing and wearing a white Meta Quest 3 VR headset. They are wearing a white t-shirt and green lanyard, standing in front of a photo of the galactic centre, taken by Euclid. The photo is displayed on LED backlit fabric and contains 60 million stars amongst pink, orange and yellow gas and dust.

#CitizenScience afficionados, #Euclid scientists would like to again solicit your input for classifying #GravitationalLensing systems. We need a sprint finish before the science analysis can be completed. 18000 galaxies that are maybe acting as lenses are waiting for your eyes and brains.

Check out the full festival programme here oisf.org, which includes a talk from Prof. Andy Taylor.

He leads the Science Ground Segment in the UK, which transforms the raw stuff we download from Euclid into science ready data scientists can use to make discoveries...and the stunning images we see!

We're going back on tour! πŸš—πŸ›³οΈβš“

Euclid scientists and engineers from @physicsastronomyed.bsky.social are heading up to Orkney for their annual science festival - #OrkneySciFest.

We can't wait to visit schools and showcase our #DarkUniverseDetective at the festival's public family day!
