@andrewneal66.bsky.socialPreston getting busy!
@andrewneal66.bsky.socialAnother excellent show upcoming in Preston.
@andrewneal66.bsky.socialHad mine done too this afternoon, along with the covid booster.
@andrewneal66.bsky.socialSo sorry to hear this Nick. Rest in peace Nina.

@andrewneal66.bsky.socialOrange Juice, yes, should have been. Alex Harvey, though, may be one of my musical blind spots.

Rodrigo y Gabriela - Our Home
Biita Houdie - This Bed Was Made For Me
Personal Trainer - Human Assholes

@andrewneal66.bsky.socialThanks for all your work on these Rich & overseeing the kind of community that represents how social media should be. Look forward to reconvening for the 26 poll & further in the distance to the book coming to fruition. Enjoy your break from spreadsheets!
@andrewneal66.bsky.socialThat tribalism is so weird. I'm amused that I've ended up editing what still calls itself a Manchester based music website yet detest most of the popular bands from that city.
@andrewneal66.bsky.socialHi Rich. Feel sad doing this for a final time. My #5DebutAlbumsFinal choices:
1. Pixies
2. Dexys
3. Kate Bush
4. MBV
5. Velvet Underground & Nico
I've mainly gone for ones that meant lots to me at the time but hated leaving out Television, Curtis Mayfield, Bunnymen, REM, Pavement, Talking Heads.
@andrewneal66.bsky.socialHappy birthday Gid. Currently catching up with this excellent show on Sounds.
@andrewneal66.bsky.socialYou're right. Should have had a top 15.

@andrewneal66.bsky.socialReally should have included Shop Assistants in immediate hindsight! Sure there will be more glaring omissions.

@andrewneal66.bsky.socialVery well deserved. This month's one with Stornoway was a delight & representative of your consistently high standards.
@silentradio.bsky.socialReposted by @andrewneal66.bsky.social"It is a record that benefits from familiarity with its shape, structure and emotions. While it would not be dictionary definition correct to say that Biita Houdei is unique, she is most definitely a remarkable talent."
