They're up, you'll find a gallery of 53 images up on the site now. Very happy with how they turned out given the lighting!
Starting to edit through the images from yesterday's (incredibly fun) @brilliantindietreasures.com event on the Golden Hinde!
Here's a fistful, I'll post again when the rest are up and updated on the site.
Yesterday @quangdx.com @isleofdann.bsky.social and I put on another @brilliantindietreasures.com! The venue was cool, the games were fantastic, and it was a great time!
Over on B3 we managed to get a pre-release experience piece for the new SWU Set alongside it's launch news, and might just have something in the pipes for another major TCG Also, keep your peepers out on Monday for our thoughts on Paizo's 13 Omens.
We've just confirmed the dates for the 13th Annual Pocket Gamer Awards over on the site, four weeks for nominations and six for voting. A couple of fun new categories this year as well.
It feels like Big Boss Battle is really starting to come into its own lately. I don't know whether it's down to the slightly bigger team and wider coverage or because I'm getting through my backlog and so things seem a little quicker... but I'm always excited to look at the homepage these days.
I did feel like I didn’t understand the character archetypes here, or half the film was cut… but the latter would have bumped the runtime to six hours, so maybe it wasn’t that. Did enjoy it though, but it could have ended much earlier rather than shifting pace and scale so often.
We went to see Hope at the cinema, it’s a cautionary tale about checking runtimes before entering the screen. As well as that it’s the second horror film I’ve laughed at in a row now (Resident Evil was the other) - much better than being terrified.
Currently learning BSL alongside Jupiter, we're a good couple of weeks in now and it's really fun. What's really interesting is that I already knew (most) of the fingerspelling but nothing else, while she has, over the years become great at ASL/Pigeon, so we're both approaching it differently.

The team (not me) also featured our most recent @brilliantindietreasures.com event in their Road Trip section!
Nobody got to be the very best by sitting on their bum
Should have posted earlier but have been catching up from Gamescom (and celebrations). Received an absolutely amazing (albeit totally ridiculous) birthday present from Jupiter this year: A Pokemon Pinball Machine. Some pictures and my current high score:
