@gruff Linkie!
Alas, I just realized: My brilliant idea of using RDF Linked Data to organize my music in relation to MusicBrainz IDs falls apart entirely for videogame music, most of which has not received a proper album, or omit songs from official releases :neobot_cry:
in the event of a baby crying on board a plane, noise cancelling headphones should fall from the panel above your head to turn it into a silent disco
"Hey Shaun did you install ClassZilla?" "I unno check the start menu" "wat"
Sir Magnus Chompington wishes you a good day, and that you would give him treats
Why, yes. Windows Media Player *did* (almost) get a release on Windows 3.11 And yes it *can* stream video content from a Windows NT 4 server

At the hotel reception I said "I'm awfully sorry, I forgot what room I'm in". "No problem sir" the lady said. "This is called 'The Lobby'".
The problem looming over this server music organization project is, I'll need to actually go through it all and tag them with MusicBrainz ids. However, I still need to finish organizing my ebook collection, that I started 2 years ago :neobot_laugh_sweat:
I think there should like a #fedi app that lets me share music I'm listening to, almost like with how Spotify lets you listen at the same time -- but maybe not so *right this exact moment*, like let people look at a collection of 5 or 8 songs you're vibing to at the moment.
I wanna share my own […]

Your application should not have a ‘consistent look across devices’, your application should be consistent _with the other applications on the device_.
I need to talk less about tech and econ on this site. Did you know about the Northern Bayberry, Myrica Pennsylvania? DID YOU KNOW YOU CAN USE ITS BERRIES TO MAKE CANDLES? This was a traditional use for many years. I'm trying to grow some.
Raw SPARQL is not very pretty, but it works for this precise shape of the RDF graph. Next I add additional RDF tuples to link up extra contentUrls for the tracks! SELECT ?a ?title ?trackNumber ?tracktitle ?link WHERE {?a schema:archivedAt "/shares/music/Game Music/Mp3/Albums/Symphonic […]
I roughly plan to add a sist2 custom script to index the RDF data and make it searchable, and hopefully the display can be customized to show the various other sources?
As for actually accessing this information conveniently, no idea yet haha
This also has the option of combining with data from vgmdb.net (and the old vgmdb.info service): I can pull even more information from the album, such as what videogame series the album is related to! And if I index the data properly, I should be able to populate a collection of symlinks to […]
And then I can extract the JSON-LD directly from MusicBrainz’s pages, but it’s missing some information, so I’ll probably w ind up generating proprietary RDF from the MusicBrainz API-accessible information (which provides the various external links that I’m interested in). Merge it together and […]
