There are *definitely* bits and pieces of BG3 lore I've thoroughly ignored, but that is because I am mainly going by Forgotten Realms lore, and there is some... misalignment there x)

Val'dran has a number of scars. Surprisingly enough, there's only really two that in truth bother him; the scars across all fingers on his right hand - lopped right off at one point - and the false eye sitting in his right socket.

Both are prone to aches and phantom pains.

Val'dran knows there are so many worse things to face, and yet one of the worst he knows is driders.

There is simply something so horrifying about knowing the thing driven insane by pain and cruelty was a drow, once. Knowing he could end like that too, with a wrong step.

Whether he survives is still up in the air, but he's at least not going out without a fight 😂
