🥳Our annual KOOPERATIV advisory group meeting brought together farmers, researchers and partners. A highlight: visiting a flower field near Hardegsen, where farmer Frank Ahrens shared how initial scepticism turned into enthusiasm. Back in Göttingen, we discussed findings from eight recent papers. 🌼
A fantastic conference for our team! We shared research on flower fields, carabids, landscape-scale agri-environment schemes, drought and crop pollination, participatory biodiversity mapping, and pollinator health. 🌸🪲🐝

Happy after two wonderful talks by Kyra and Marleen
on carabid diversity and predation as ecosystem services. 🥳
Congratulations to you both!

Great talk by Marco Ferrante on how flower fields influence the spatiotemporal dynamics of carabid
communities in agricultural landscapes

📣New publication: Before sowing perennial wildflower fields, farmers were concerned that problematic weeds might establish on their arable land.
We found: 33 native plant species established very well across diverse management and landscape conditions.
🌱 Special Interest Group Agroecology – meet us in Odense! The Special Interest Group Agroecology will meet at the NSO-GfÖ Conference in Odense, Denmark, on Tuesday, 15 September, from 13:00–14:00.
📣PhD opportunity!
We are looking for a highly motivated doctoral researcher with expertise in pollinator ecology, agroecology, and landscape ecology. 🐝🚜🌼
Research will focus on resilience of pollinator communities in agricultural landscapes.
