An open-label randomized, noninferiority trial showed that intermittent HD was not noninferior to CRRT in critically ill adults with AKI. Death by day 90 occurred in 164 pts 63.1% & in 147 pts 53.5% respectively. Kaplan–Meier mortality estimates at day 90 were 63.3% & 53.6% (HR 1.30)
